Representing Islamabad and Washington DC, Kiran is the resident sunshine, the eternal optimist, and the one person who successfully tolerates Aamir full-time. She brings warmth, calm, and effortless joy.
About the Groom
Aamir
Sheikh
Born in Mombasa, Kenya, Aamir traded the Coast for city life and brought his legal brain to the UAE. Calm, thoughtful, and quietly funny — he is the balance to Kiran’s sunshine.
Together
The Plot
Twist
From Neighbors to Forever. Aamir touched down in Dubai four years ago. Within thirty days, he met Kiran. What started as “Hey, neighbor” became a best friendship, and somehow the cutest plot twist of all — forever.

Stay
Where to Stay
The UAE is really well-connected — stay where you’ll have the most fun. Whether you fly into Dubai (DXB) or Abu Dhabi (AUH), you can easily move between the two.
Pro Tip: If you’re traveling as a family or in a group, we highly recommend checking out Airbnbs. There are incredible villas and high-rise apartments that offer great value.
Option A
Your DXB Diary
Downtown / Business Bay
The heart of the action. Perfect for Burj Khalifa views and being minutes away from Dubai Mall. Our Picks: JW Marriott Marquis, Pullman Downtown, Canal Central.
Dubai Hills
A greener, more serene side of Dubai with a massive park and a great mall. Our Picks: Airbnbs, Vida Dubai Hills.
The Palm Jumeirah
For the classic resort holiday vibe and iconic beach clubs. Our Picks: Atlantis the Palm, Sofitel, Hilton, Anantara, Marriott, W Hotel and for a select few of you — Five Palm.
Jumeirah
The original Dubai holiday destination. Our Picks: Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
Al Jaddaf
Great waterfront views and a more relaxed pace. Our Picks: Palazzo Versace, Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf.
Dubai Marina / JBR
For those who love being able to walk to the beach, the cinema, and a hundred different cafes. Our Picks: Hilton JBR, Address Beach Resort, Sheraton Jumeirah Beach.
Mall of the Emirates Area
Great for central access and, of course, direct connectivity to the mall. Our Picks: Sheraton Mall of the Emirates, Kempinski MOE.
The Quirky Choice
25hours Hotel One Central near Museum of the Future — easily one of the coolest hotels in the city.
Option B
Abu Dreamy
Yas Island
The fun hub. Minutes away from our Night 1 venue, Warner Bros., and home to Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, and Yas Links Golf Club. Recommended: W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, The WB Abu Dhabi, Hilton Yas Island, or Yas Island Rotana.
Saadiyat Island
The beach and culture spot. Home to the most stunning turquoise waters in the UAE and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Recommended: The St. Regis Saadiyat Island, Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island, Saadiyat Rotana Resort.
Al Maryah & Reem Island
Classic metropolitan energy. Al Maryah is the business and luxury dining heart, home to The Galleria mall and Michelin-star spots like Zuma and LPM. Reem Island offers a residential, high-rise skyline vibe right next door. Recommended: Four Seasons Abu Dhabi, Rosewood Abu Dhabi, Beach Rotana, Reem Five.
The Wedding Hub — Grand Canal
For maximum convenience, stay right where the Reception takes place. The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi: Guests attending our wedding can take advantage of a 20% discount on rooms. Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri: Just a few minutes down the road with a more traditional vibe.

FAQs
Good to Know
Everyone landing at DXB or AUH should receive a free tourist SIM, usually du or Etisalat, right at immigration. It has enough data to get you to your hotel. For the rest of the trip, we recommend topping it up or grabbing an eSIM like Airalo or Nomad before you fly.
In Dubai: rent a car, use the Metro, download Careem or Uber. In Abu Dhabi: rent a car, download Uber or the Abu Taxi app. For navigation, Google Maps is okay, but Waze/Yango are better for traffic and speed camera alerts.
Yes — we highly recommend that you do. Live out your super car fantasy? If you’re from the UK, US, Canada, or most EU countries, your home license is usually enough. Others may need an International Driving Permit. Check with your rental agency, such as Hertz, Avis, or apps like Selfdrive, in advance.
Passenger service is set to be fully operational in 2026. If it’s live by October, you may want to give it a try to get between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
October 30: 8:30 PM sharp, don’t miss out on the ride. October 31: 5:00 PM. We want to catch that sunset and transition to the evening.
Night 1 at Warner Bros.: there is massive, free parking available at the park. We recommend Yas Waterworld Parking for quicker access. If you’re taking a taxi, put Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi into your app. Night 2 at Ritz-Carlton: valet parking is available for all guests, and taxis/Careem will drop you right at the front door.
Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate those specifically named on your invitation. If your invite says “plus one,” then the more the merrier. If not, we hope you understand.
Our position is that you should relax and enjoy yourself sans kids, but we understand that some of you may need to travel with your children. Please let us know in the RSVP the names and age of each child attending. We can also suggest safe and reputable nanny services while you are in the UAE should you wish to leave the kids at the hotel.
Honestly, stay wherever makes you happy. Whether you want the Dubai skyline or the Abu Dhabi beachfront, you’ll be fine. Check out our Where to Stay section for recommendations, and don’t sleep on Airbnb — there are some absolute gems.
Day 1 — Masquerade Mehndi: Desi outfit and a mask. Dress code palette: Gold, Black, Red & Silver. The motto is more is more.

Truly, your presence at our wedding is the only gift we need. We’ve asked you to travel across the world to be with us, and that is more than enough. However, if you would like to go above and beyond, our only request is no boxed gifts, please.
The UAE uses Type G plugs, the 3-pin British style. The voltage is 230V. If you’re coming from the US or Europe, pack an adapter.
In late October, expect highs of 30°C and lows of 24°C.
When you RSVP, please note these down so we can prepare properly.
Ask AI. In case that doesn’t work, we will be listing a Point of Contact from our wedding party here closer to the date.
